Canceled flights on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025

Some flights for Saturday, November 29, 2025, were canceled after Airbus issued a technical advisory for select A320 and A321 aircraft.

PAL

Philippine Airlines (PAL) said the following flights have been canceled:

  • PR 1845 Manila-Cebu
  • PR 1880 Cebu-Manila
  • PR 1801/1802 Manila-Davao-Manila
  • 2P 2981/2982 Manila-Tacloban-Manila
  • 2P 2035/2036 Manila-Caticlan-Manila
  • 2P 2141/2142 Manila-Iloilo-Manila
  • 2P 2773/2774 Manila-Tagbilaran-Manila
  • 2P 2133/2134 Manila-Bacolod-Manila


The airline said passengers with upcoming flights should check their email and registered mobile number for advisories.

Passengers may also log on to https://www.philippineairlines.com/en/flight-status to check their flight status or visit their Facebook page.

"We advise you not to proceed to the airport if your flight is canceled," PAL said.

The airline said affected passengers may rebook their ticket, convert to travel credits or have their unused ticket refunded.

"We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding," PAL said.

Cebu Pacific

Meanwhile, Cebu Pacific also announced that the following flights for Saturday, Nov. 29 were canceled due to the Airbus notice requiring a mandatory software update for A320/A321 aircraft:

"Our operations and engineering teams are working diligently to complete the updates as quickly and efficiently as possible. We have also deployed additional airport staff to assist passengers and hope to normalize operations soon," Cebu Pacific said.

The airline said affected passengers may opt to rebook their flight or store the amount in a travel fund (virtual CEB wallet) which can be used to book a new flight or pay for add-ons. They may also opt to apply for full refund of their ticket.

Passengers may visit https://www.cebupacificair.com/manage-booking to avail of any of the options. 

"The safety and wellbeing of our passengers remain our highest priority. As this an evolving situation, further flight cancellations may take place. For those traveling within the next 48 hours, we encourage you to check your flight status at https://www.cebupacificair.com/flight-status before heading to the airport. We will provide updates, as necessary. Thank you for understanding," the airline said.

AirAsia

Meanwhile, AirAsia Philippines said it is complying with the Airworthiness Directive (AD) of the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) "requiring Airbus A320 aircraft to undergo software rollback."
