NLEX to close some lanes for Sto. Tomas Interchange construction

Some lanes of the North Luzon Expressway will be temporarily closed to give way to the construction of the Sto. Tomas Interchange Project in Pampanga of the Department of Public Works and Highways, NLEX Corporation said Friday.

The affected lanes and schedule of closure are as follows:

- southbound after San Simon Interchange: Lane 1 (leftmost lane), 150-meter portion

• Jan. 26, 10 p.m. to Jan. 27, 4 a.m.
• Jan. 27, 10 p.m. to Jan. 28, 4 a.m.
• Jan. 29, 10 p.m. to Jan. 30, 4 a.m.

- northbound after Pau River Bridge: all lanes closed, 500-meter portion

• Jan. 28, 10 p.m. to Jan. 29, 4 a.m.

A counterflow will be implemented at the opposite direction during this time, the company said. —KG, GMA Integrated News
