LIST: Canceled flights on Feb. 28 and March 1, 2026 amid Middle East tensions

Flag carrier Philippine Airlines canceled several flights to and from the Middle East following strikes launched by the United States and Israel on Iran on Saturday, February 28.

February 28, 2026

• PR684 (Manila – Doha)
• PR655 (Riyadh – Manila)
• PR659 (Dubai – Manila)

March 1, 2026

• PR685 (Doha-Manila)

In an advisory, PAL said it canceled these flights "due to restrictions in flight operations in the concerned Middle East stations."

PAL also implemented flight diversions.

• PR654 (Manila – Riyadh), which departed Manila on Saturday, will return to Manila and arrive 10:40 p.m. local time.
• PR658 (Manila – Dubai), which also departed Manila on Saturday, will return to Manila and arrive 9:52 p.m. local time.
