QC gov’t: Temporary road closures for NLEX-C5 Northlink Segment project

The Quezon City government on Sunday announced temporary road closures in Barangay Bagbag for the construction of an underpass for the NLEX-C5 Northlink Segment project.

In a Facebook post, the Quezon City local government unit (LGU) said Katipunan Kaliwa Street / Lokaria Street will be temporarily closed from Mindanao Avenue to King Alexander Street from March 30, 10 p.m. to April 6, 4 a.m.

This is to give way for the construction of an underpass for the NLEX–C5 Northlink Segment 8.2 Section 1A project.

“Pinapayuhan ang mga motorista na dumaan sa mga alternatibong ruta at planuhin ang biyahe nang mas maaga,” the announcement said.

(Motorists are advised to take alternative routes and plan their trips in advance.)

The Quezon City government said traffic enforcers will be deployed to help manage the flow of traffic and that directional signs will be installed to guide motorists on the alternate routes. — JMA, GMA Integrated News
