Q City Bus Service to suspend ops on Maundy Thursday to Black Saturday

Q City Bus Service, the free bus ride service of the Quezon City government, will suspend its operations from Maundy Thursday, April 2 until Black Saturday, April 4, 2026. 

In an advisory, the Quezon City government said that regular operations will resume on Easter Sunday, April 5. 

The Q City Bus Service has eight routes: Quezon City Hall to Cubao; Quezon City Hall to Litex/IBP Road; Welcome Rotonda to Aurora-Katipunan; Quezon City Hall to General Luis Avenue; Quezon City Hall to Mindanao Avenue; Quezon City Hall to Gilmore; Quezon City Hall to Ortigas Avenue; and Quezon City Hall to Muñoz.

The Metro Rail Transit-Line 3 and the Light Rail Transit Lines 1 and 2 earlier announced the suspension of operations from April 2 to 5 for their maintenance activities. Meanwhile, the Philippine National Railways will have no trips from April 3 to 4, also for maintenance activities. —Vince Angelo Ferreras/RF, GMA Integrated News
