LRT-2 to offer free rides on Labor Day 2026

The Light Rail Transit Authority (LRT-2) will offer free rides to all workers on Friday, May 1, as the country commemorates Labor Day.

The free rides will be from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

“Ang libreng sakay na ito ay munting pagkilala sa walang sawang pagsusumikap at sakripisyo ng mga manggagawang Pilipino. Sa pamamagitan nito, hangad naming maipadama ang aming taos-pusong pasasalamat at mataas na pagpapahalaga sa kanilang dedikasyon,” LRTA Administrator Hernando Cabrera said.

(These free rides are a small gesture of recognition for the tireless effort and sacrifice of Filipino workers. Through this, we aim to express our heartfelt gratitude and deep appreciation for their dedication.)
