EDSA Magallanes Flyover southbound repairs continue; one lane closed

Repair work on the EDSA Magallanes Flyover southbound continued starting Friday and will last until early Monday, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) said.

The repairs are to be conducted from 10 p.m. Friday, May 22, up to 5 a.m. on Monday, May 26, as part of the EDSA rehabilitation, the DPWH said in an advisory.

The left lane has been closed for repairs, while the right lane remains passable to motorists during the said period, it added.

"The works will cover additional repair works for the completion of the project. While the flyover remains partially open, motorists are encouraged to plan their trip ahead of time and access alternative routes," the DPWH said.

The southbound EDSA Magallanes flyover was also closed for five days during Holy Week last April for rehabilitation. —KG, GMA News
