LIST: Diverted flights on Aug. 8, 2026 due to bad weather

Several flights were diverted on Saturday due to inclement weather brought by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) reported.
As of the afternoon of August 8, 2026, the following flights had been diverted:
- DG 6468 (Cebgo): Mactan-Bacolod — Returned to Mactan due to bad weather in Bacolod and landed at Mactan at 6:03 a.m.
- CSN 3091 (China Southern): Guangzhou-Manila — Diverted to Clark at 10:37 a.m. due to weather conditions at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) and landed in Clark at 12:23 p.m.
- CXA 827 (XiamenAir): Xiamen-Manila — Diverted to Mactan at 10:38 a.m. due to weather conditions at NAIA and landed in Mactan at 12:49 p.m.
- 5J 185 (Cebu Pacific): Incheon-Manila — Diverted to Iloilo due to weather conditions at NAIA and landed in Iloilo at 12:54 a.m.
- 5J 3444 (Cebu Pacific): Pagadian-Manila — Diverted to Kalibo at 12:24 p.m. due to weather conditions at NAIA and landed in Kalibo at 12:56 p.m.
