LIST: Canceled sea trips as of Aug. 13 due to Habagat

Several trips by sea vessels were cancelled on Thursday due to inclement weather caused by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).
In a social media post, the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) said the following trips were cancelled as of 8 a.m., August 13, 2026:
BATANGAS
- Port of Batangas: Fastcraft - Galerian (0630H, 0945H) Puerto Galera
MASBATE
- Montenegro Shipping Lines (FAST CRAFT): Masbate City to Pilar, Sorsogon
- MB Maribel: Claveria, Masbate - Pio Duran, Albay
MINDORO
- Port of Puerto Galera: MV PTERIPPUS I, 6:00 AM, Puerto Galera to Batangas
- Port of Puerto Galera: MV PTERIPPUS II, 8:15 AM, Puerto Gallera to Batangas
- Port of Puerto Galera: MV ISLAND PANDAN 2, 9:00 AM, Puerto Gallera to Batangas
- Port of Puerto Galera: MV PTERIPPUS I, 11:45 AM, Puerto Galera to Batangas
- Port of Puerto Galera: MV CITY OF BACOLOD, 12:30 PM, Puerto Galera to Batangas
- Port of Puerto Galera: MV PTERIPPUS II, 2:30 PM, Puerto Galera to Batangas
- Port of Puerto Galera: MV CITY OF BACOLOD, 3:15 PM, Puerto Galera to Batangas
- Port of Puerto Galera: MV PTERIPPUS I, 3:45 PM, Puerto Galera to Batangas
The PPA noted that it does not cancel trips.
“If PCG (Philippine Coast Guard) issues a no-sail policy, trips are automatically cancelled because ships are not allowed to sail,” it added.
It further said that shipping lines may also cancel trips subject to compliance with Maritime Industry Authority (Marina) regulations.
