LIST: Canceled sea trips as of Aug. 18 due to Habagat

Several trips by sea vessels were cancelled on Tuesday due to inclement weather caused by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).
In a social media post, the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) said the following trips were cancelled as of 8 a.m., August 18, 2026:
Batangas
- Port of Batangas: Fastcraft, Galerian - Puerto Galera (0630H, 0945H)
- Port of Batangas: Fastcraft, Island Water - No Trip
- Port of Batangas: Fastcraft, Montenegro - Puerto Galera (1045H, 1415H)
- Port of Batangas: Roro, Starlite - Romblon, Sibuyan, Culasi, Roxas city (1500H)
Masbate
- MB Maribel: Claveria - Pioduran, Albay
- Montenegro Fastcraft: Masbate - Pilar, Sorsogon
Mindoro
- Port of Puerto Galera: MV CITY OF BACOLOD, 7:15 AM & 12:30 PM, Puerto Galera to Batangas
- Port of Lubang: ALL TRIPS ARE CANCELLED
- Port of San Jose: MV BUNSO FERRY 2, San Jose to Coron
- Port of Abra De Ilog: MONTENEGRO SHIPPING LINES, 11:30 AM, Abra De Ilog to Batangas
Bohol
- TMO Getafe: Sunriser II, Getafe to Cordova, Cebu
- TMO Jagna: SUPER SHUTTLE FERRY 28 Jagna-Balbagon, Camiguin (ETD 1430H)
Palawan
- TMO Coron: MV Bunso Ferry 2
- TMO Coron: MV City of Iloilo
- TMO Coron: Expedition Tours
- TMO Culion: Escapade Tours and all trips of vessel with 15GT and below
The PPA noted that it does not cancel trips.
“If PCG (Philippine Coast Guard) issues a no-sail policy, trips are automatically cancelled because ships are not allowed to sail,” it added.
It further said that shipping lines may also cancel trips subject to compliance with Maritime Industry Authority (Marina) regulations.
