Palace declares non-working holidays in 3 areas

Malacañang has declared non-working holidays this month in three areas in the country, documents released by the Palace showed Wednesday.

Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea on January 7 signed three proclamations declaring non-working holidays in the following areas:

• Proclamation 642, non-working holiday in  Koronadal City, South Cotabato on January 10 in celebration of its 79th founding anniversary and the 19th Hinugyaw Festival
• Proclamation 643, non-working holiday in Valencia City, Bukidnon on January 12 in celebration of its founding anniversary
• Proclamation 644, non-working holiday in  San Pablo City, Laguna on January 15 in celebration of the 24th Coconut Festival and Street Dancing Competition (Mardi Gras)

Medialdea said he signed the proclamations  by the authority of President Rodrigo Duterte. — MDM, GMA News
