Class cancellations for Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2022

Classes for Wednesday, September 21, 2022, have been canceled in some areas due to bad weather caused by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

Below are the class cancellations for Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2022:

Batangas:

• Lian - all levels, public and private
• Calatagan - all levels, public and private
• Lemery - all levels, public and private
• Tuy - all levels, public and private
• Taal - all levels, public and private
• Nasugbu - preschool to senior high school
• Calaca - preschool to senior high school

A low pressure area (LPA) located east of Central Luzon is enhancing the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) on Wednesday, PAGASA said in its weather forecast.

Metro Manila, Bataan, Zambales, Cavite, Batangas, Occidental Mindoro and Northern Palawan including Cuyo Islands will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the monsoon. Flash floods or landslides may result due to moderate to at times heavy rains, the weather bureau said.
