Class suspensions for Monday, April 1, 2024

Several schools on Monday, April 1, 2024, suspended face-to-face classes due to the hot weather.

The Department of Education said the schools are implementing an alternative delivery mode of learning to lessen the disruption of the weather conditions on the students.

Below are the class suspensions for Monday, April 1, 2024:

• Bacolod City: no face-to-face classes, preschool to senior high school, public and private
• Iloilo City: no face-to-face classes, preschool to senior high school, public and private, until April 2
• Roxas, Capiz: no face-to-face classes, preschool to senior high school, public and private
• Kabankalan, Negros Occidental: no classes in all levels, public and private
• E.B. Magalona, Negros Occidental: no face-to-face classes in all levels, public and private, until April 2
• Tantangan, South Cotabato: half-day classes for April 1 to 15 in all levels, public and private
• Dagupan City: no face-to-face classes until April 2
• Silay City
• Guimaras
• Himamaylan City
• Dumangas, Iloilo
• Bago City
• Pagadian City Pilot School
• Buenavista Integrated School
• Municipality of Banga, South Cotabato
