Class cancellations for Monday, March 3, 2025

Face-to-face class for Monday, March 3, 2025 have been cancelled in some areas and schools due to the high heat index.

• Caloocan City - kinder to senior high school levels in public schools to shift to asynchronous learning; private school at discretion of school authorities
• Las Piñas City - all levels, public and private; shift to online or asynchronous learning
• Malabon City - all levels, public and private to shift to modular distance learning
• Manila - afternoon classes, all levels. public and private
• Marikina City - early dismissal (11 a.m.) for morning shift; cancelled classes for afternoon shift, all levels, public and private
• Parañaque City - all levels, public and private to shift to online or asynchronous learning
• Pasay City - all levels, public and private
• Valenzuela City - kinder to senior high school, public and private to to shift to online or asynchronous learning
• La Salle Green Hills - preschool to Grade 3, asynchronous; Grades 4-12, synchronous 
• Valenzuela City Technological College - to shift to synchronous classes 
• Philippine Science High School-Main Campus - to shift to synchronous or asynchronous learning                                      

According to the PAGASA's heat index forecast, the heat index expected to be computed at the following synoptic stations will be within the "danger" range of 42 to 51 degrees Celsius on Monday:

• Science Garden Quezon City - 46°C
• Clark Airport, Pampanga - 46°C
• CLSU Muñoz, Nueva Ecija - 45°C
