WALANG PASOK: Class, work suspensions for Thursday, Oct. 2, 2025 due to Cebu earthquake

Classes for Thursday, October 2, 2025 have been suspended in some areas due to the effects of a magnitude 6.9 earthquake that struck near Bogo City in Cebu.

Cebu City - kindergarten, elementary and high school public schools
For public State Colleges and Universities, suspension is at the discretion of the institution
For all private schools, suspension is at the discretion of the institution

College of Technological Sciences - no face-to-face

Talisay City - no face-to-face classes, all levels, public and private until October 3, 2025 due to inspection of schools following the earthquake

University of Cebu - no face-to-face
