WALANG PASOK: Class suspensions for Thursday, October 16, 2025

Classes for Thursday, October 16, 2025, have been suspended in some areas due to the effects of the recent earthquakes and the rise in influenza-like illnesses.

Below are the class suspensions for Thursday, October 16, 2025:

REGION III (CENTRAL LUZON)

Schools Division of Bulacan - no face-to-face classes, elementary to secondary, public, Oct. 16-17 
for simultaneous school building inspection

REGION IV-A (CALABARZON)

Cavite - no face-to-face classes, all levels, public and private, Oct. 15 to 18

Laguna - no face-to-face classes, all levels, public and private, Oct. 15 to 31

Rizal - no face-to-face classes, all levels, public and private until Oct. 17; shift to modular distance learning

REGION X - NORTHERN MINDANAO

Gingoog, Misamis Oriental - no face-to-face classes, public and private; suspended Oct. 13 until further notice

REGION XI - DAVAO REGION

Davao Oriental - no face-to-face classes, public schools; suspended Oct. 11 until further notice

Mabini, Davao de Oro - no classes, all levels, public and private; suspended Oct. 13 until further notice

Montevista, Davao de Oro - no classes, all levels; suspended Oct. 14 until further notice. Suspension includes work of all teachers and non-teaching/administrative personnel.

Nabunturan, Davao de Oro - asynchronous classes for all levels, public and private, suspended Oct. 13 until further notice

SCHOOLS

University of Sto. Tomas - all classes and office work across all levels until Oct. 16
