WALANG PASOK: Cebu suspends classes for Monday, January 19, 2026

Classes for Monday, January 19, 2026 have been suspended in Cebu City as well as province-wide, amid the celebration of Sinulog.

Cebu City Mayor Nestor Archival earlier announced the suspension of Monday classes at all levels to give participants time to rest.

In a separate statement, Cebu Governor Pam Baricuatro ordered the suspension of Monday classes at all levels in public schools throughout the province. "This will allow students time to rest and travel home safely," the provincial government said.
