WALANG PASOK: Class suspension for Wednesday, February 4, 2026, due to TD Basyang

Classes have been suspended in the municipality of Amlan, Negros Oriental, on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, due to Tropical Depression Basyang.

In an executive order, town Mayor Manuel Jose Sycip said the suspension covers all levels, public and private schools.

The order also directed teaching personnel of schools to shift to an altermative delivery mode of learning.

As of 11 p.m. on Tuesday, state weather bureau PAGASA said Basyang will gradually intensify and may reach the tropical storm category. —LDF, GMA Integrated News
