Face-to-face class suspensions on March 26 and 27, 2026 due to transport strike

Classes in some universities and schools will shift to alternative learning modalities on Thursday, March 26 and Friday, March 27 due to the nationwide, two-day transport strike.
Below are the announcements from some universities and schools:
- University of the Philippines Diliman: Faculty members are encouraged to shift to remote or asynchronous modes of learning. They may also opt to conduct scheduled activities on-site in consultation with their students.
- University of the Philippines Manila: Faculty members are encouraged to shift to synchronous or asynchronous modes of learning.
- Polytechnic University of the Philippines: Classes across all campuses and academic extension programs will shift to an online modality, synchronous or asynchronous.
- University of Sto. Tomas: Classes to shift to enriched virtual mode of instruction on March 26.
- Tarlac State University: Undergraduate and graduate classes will shift to flexible learning modalities.
- U.P. Integrated School: Classes to shift to remote mode, classes will be conducted either synchronously or asynchronously.
- Adamson University: Classes on March 26, 27, and 28 to be conducted online, including those under the Graduate Studies Program except for the College of Law.
- Centro Escolar University: All classes online.
Here are the areas that declared a suspension of face-to-face classes:
- Laguna: No face-to-face classes, all levels, public and private; shift to modular or online learning.
