Classes for Monday, June 8, 2026, have been suspended in some areas in Mindanao due to the magnitude 7.8 earthquake that hit offshore Sarangani.

Below are the class suspensions for Monday, June 8, 2026:

Sarangani — province-wide classes and work in government offices are suspended until further notice.

Alabel — all levels in public and private schools, and all government offices within the municipality

Maasim — all levels in public and private schools, and work in all offices, establishments, and institutions

Maitum — all levels in public and private schools (June 8-9), and work in government offices within the municipality

Malungon — all levels in public and private schools, and work in government offices within the municipality
