Classes in some areas have been suspended due to inclement weather caused by Tropical Storm Maymay.

• Rosales, Pangasinan - all levels, public and private

• Mangaldan, Pangasinan - all levels, public and private
• Sto. Tomas, Pangasinan - all levels, public and private
• Binmaley, Pangasinan - all levels, public and private
• Bugallon, Pangasinan - all levels, public and private
• Labrador, Pangasinan - all levels, public and private
• Calasiao, Pangasinan - all levels, public and private
• Lingayen, Pangasinan - all levels, public and private
• Bayambang, Pangasinan - all levels, public and private
• Ilocos Sur - - all levels, public and private

• Pasay City -all levels face to face classes, public and private, shift to Alternative Delivery Mode
• Muntinlupa City - all levels face to face classes, public and private, shift to Asynchronous Classes
• Taguig City - all levels face to face classes, public and private, shift to Alternative Delivery Mode
• San Juan City - all levels, public and private
• Quezon City - child development centers-kindergarten-grades 1 to 12, face to face classes, public, synchronous / asynchronous to be implemented
• Antipolo City, Rizal - all levels, public and private, shift to alternative modes (Modular, Online or Hybrid)

On Wednesday evening, Malacañang announced the suspension of government work and classes at all levels in Metro Manila due to heavy rainfall brought by Tropical Storm Maymay and the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

In addition to Metro Manila, the suspension covers the provinces of Ilocos Sur, La Union, Benguet, Pangasinan, Abra, Zambales, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Ilocos Norte, Apayao, Nueva Vizcaya, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Bataan, Pampanga, Bulacan, Rizal, Cavite, Batangas, Laguna, and Occidental Mindoro.

The Palace said local chief executives in areas not covered by the directive may suspend work and classes in their respective jurisdictions in accordance with existing laws, rules, and regulations.
