Carmelle Collado to represent PH in 'Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026'
Carmelle Collado for the Philippines!
During the Philippine Selection Night of “Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026” held on Sunday, Carmelle bested nine other singers and groups with her performance of “Sobra-Sobra” to ultimately become the Philippine representative for the international singing competition.
The "PBB: Celebrity Collab 2.0" alum is set to compete against representatives from across Asia, including Bhutan, Malaysia, Korea, Nepal, Laos, Thailand, and Bangladesh, among others.
The Grand Finals of the "Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026" will be held in Bangkok on November 14.
The "Eurovision Song Contest" is the longest-running and one of the biggest live international music competitions in the world.
Organized by the European Broadcasting Union since 1956, it showcases original songs performed by artists representing mainly European countries. Winners of the competition are determined through a combination of public votes and professional jury scoring.
This is the inaugural Asian edition of the contest.
