Joy Barcoma steps away from 'Dogshow Divas': 'I'm choosing to protect my peace'

Joy Barcoma has announced that she is stepping away from guest-hosting the “Dogshow Divas” podcast.

On Facebook, the Miss Earth Philippines 2025 titleholder said she was aware of the comments about her guest appearances, though she did not provide further context.

“I’ve always been grateful whenever I’m invited to join podcasts when my schedule allows, but how often I appear isn’t something I personally control,” she said.

“[I’m grateful] to everyone who supported us, but for now, I’m choosing to protect my peace,” she added. “All the best to Dogshow Divas!”

In the comments section, Baus Rufo and Macoy Dubs thanked the beauty queen for dedicating her time to their podcast.

“Love you,” Baus commented. “Thanks for bringing such light and joy to the pod. Always the class act and the dazzling jusa that you are.”

“Thank you, Joy, for the time and effort sa DSD,” Macoy added.

"Dogshow Divas" is a podcast where Baus and Macoy discuss a variety of topics like Filipino culture, work, showbiz, fashion, social issues, and more.

Baus is a comedian and a host. He is a co-founder of the production company Bekenemen, which holds drag watch parties, while Macoy is a content creator who rose to fame with his skits of the character Auntie Julie.

Meanwhile, Joy finished in the Top 8 of Miss Earth 2025.
