Kuya Kurt says he's learning a lot from Dingdong Dantes while working on 'The Master Cutter'
Kuya Kurt shared what it is like working with Dingdong Dantes on the upcoming film “The Master Cutter.”
During a “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda" interview on Tuesday, the popular American vlogger was asked what the Kapuso Primetime King had learned from him while working together on the project.
But Kuya Kurt turned the question around and said he is the one learning more from the seasoned Kapuso actor.
“Actually, I feel like I’m learning even more from him,” Kuya Kurt said in Filipino, even compared Dingdong to Hollywood action star Tom Cruise, whom he considers the Philippine equivalent.
According to Kuya Kurt, he continues to learn from Dingdong every time they are on set.
“Honestly, Tito Boy, I learn so much every day that I’m on set,” he said.
When asked about one thing Dingdong may have learned from him, Kuya Kurt jokingly pointed to his famous pares.
“Maybe the secret ingredient in my pares. That’s what he really learned from me—the secret ingredient in my pares,” he said.
And what is the secret ingredient? As per Kuya Kurt, it’s “pagmamahal.”
Kuya Kurt currently appears in “The Master Cutter” as a pares vendor. He rose to fame for his love for the Philippines. He is known for trying out different Filipino street food and carinderias.
