Isa Briones among Time 100's 2026 World's Most Influential Rising Stars

Filipino-American actress Isa Briones is among the honorees of “TIME100 Next 2026: The World’s Most Influential Rising Stars.”

Categorized under “Artists,” Isa’s profile was written by Katherine LaNasa, her co-star on “The Pitt.”

“The literal funny bone of ‘The Pit’ (sorry, pun intended), she moves between vulnerability, deadpan comedy, and gritty ‘don’t even think about messing with me' moments with the ease of an actor far beyond her years,” Katherine wrote.

“And she can sing like nobody’s business,” she added, as a little nod to the Filipino throat chakra.

Katherine also said that Isa’s “fierce dedication to accurate portrayals of Filipino women” on screen has been an inspiration to many.
