Will Ashley wins Gawad Urian Best Supporting Actor for 'Bar Boys: After School'

Will Ashley is now a Gawad Urian winner!

The Sparkle star won the Best Supporting Actor trophy for his performance as Arvin Asuncion in "Bar Boys: After School."

In his acceptance speech, Will thanked the whole production team for trusting him. He also expressed his gratitude to his family, friends, and Sparkle.

"God surprises me every day, because the things I used to just dream of are now coming true," he said in Filipino.

"I dedicate this award to everyone who dreams, to those taking the bar exams. Never stop believing and never stop dreaming. The fight continues. Like Arvin Asuncion, who bravely took on the fight again and finally became a passer."

Directed by Kip Oebanda, the film is one of the entries in the Metro Manila Film Festival 2025. It is the sequel to the 2017 "Bar Boys" starring Carlo Aquino, Rocco Nacino, Kean Cipriano, and Enzo Pineda.

Will is set to star in the upcoming GMA Afternoon Prime series "Delivery Boi." —MGP, GMA News
