Michelle Dee and Sanya Lopez’s acting skills were tested during the production of “Red Crown.”

In Nelson Canlas' report on “24 Oras” on Tuesday, Sanya admitted that she was nervous during their scenes.

“I was nervous, because I don’t know if what I was doing was right,” the actress said in Filipino. “Good thing we have real beauty queens here, so if there are questions before the scene starts, they are there to guide us. So it really helps that we have those who really have experience in pageants.”

Michelle added that being on “Red Crown” is a surreal experience because she has lived through some of the scenes that were being shot.

“I’m sure a lot of the other cast members have lived through it also, so like it’s nice to watch it fully in a cinematic lens,” she said in a mix of Filipino and English.

The film brings together an all-star cast of beauty queens and actresses, including Faith Da Silva, Ashley Ortega, AZ Martinez, Shuvee Etrata, and Ahtisa Manalo, among others.

“Red Crown” is directed by Dominic Zapata.

The film is set to premiere in cinemas nationwide on October 28.
