Abi Marquez achieves dream of being on the 'MasterChef' set: 'Still can’t believe it'

Abi Marquez has achieved her dream of not just visiting but also appearing on the reality cooking show franchise “MasterChef Asia!”

On Facebook, the “Lumpia Queen” shared some behind-the-scenes snaps from her guest appearance, including a group photo with “Culinary Class Wars” chef Edward Lee and “MasterChef Asia” hosts Pichaya Soontornyanakij and Kelvin Cheung.

“Still can’t believe it!” Abi wrote. “I had the chance to step into a kitchen I've dreamed about since I was a kid.”

In January, the food content creator was named Creator of the Year at the 2025 ADCOLOR Awards for gaining over 11 million followers “by wrapping almost anything into lumpia while celebrating Filipino food culture.”

The recognition followed Abi’s win as Most Innovative Content Creator of the Year at the Stevie Awards in August 2025.

In the same year, she also won the Best Flood Blogger award at the World Influencers and Bloggers Awards 2025 in Cannes, France.

Abi has collaborated with big names in the food and show business industry, including Gordon Ramsay, David Corenswet, and Uncle Roger.
