Bea Alonzo teases controversial story in ‘Whispers From Heaven,’ to tackle PH politics

Bea Alonzo revealed that her upcoming series, “Whispers From Heaven,” is down to its last two days of taping and will tackle issues surrounding Philippine politics.

On Thursday, the Kapuso actress told GMA News Online that the series is nearing completion but will not be released until next year.

“We're almost done. We're down to our last two days of taping. But it won't be out until next year,” Bea said in a mix of Filipino and English.

Bea described the project as a timely story about current events in Philippine politics, hinting that its subject matter may be controversial.

“I would say it's a very timely kind of story when it comes to tackling about whatever is happening in Philippine politics. It’s a bit controversial. But it's something to watch,” she said.

“Whispers From Heaven” will also star Tom Rodriguez, Cassy Legaspi, Maricar Reyes, and more.

Outside showbiz, Bea is also busy with BASH*, her travel essentials brand, which just opened its concept store in Makati. The store will remain open to shoppers until December 31.
