Ruffa Gutierrez will support Faith Da Silva if she joins a beauty pageant: 'I love her'
Ruffa Gutierrez has nothing but kind words for her "Red Crown" co-star Faith Da Silva, who is also the daughter of her former love team partner Dennis Da Silva.
The actress and beauty queen looked back on their first time working together before the pandemic. Faith introduced herself to Ruffa, but her name didn't ring a bell. When Faith said her father was Dennis, Ruffa was shocked.
"Oh my god, wow, she's pretty," Ruffa recalled saying.
She added that she and Faith grew closer while filming "Red Crown" and that she will support Faith if she joins a beauty pageant.
"I love her," Ruffa said.
"I think with just the right makeup, right team, right Q&A," she added. "She's beautiful because she has that Latina factor as well as exotic Filipina. She's very raw that could still be… I guess she's like a flower that can still blossom and bloom into something more beautiful."
Ruffa also clarified that she and Dennis were never in a relationship.
"Mommy just made it a big deal," she said.
"Red Crown" is a dark comedy featuring a beauty pageant, where the candidates compete for the coveted red crown and a whopping P25 million cash prize. But what begins as an ordinary beauty pageant soon takes a chilling turn as the competition becomes a fight for survival.
One by one, the queens begin experiencing mysterious and terrifying incidents, forcing them to fight not only for the crown but also for their lives.
"Red Crown" is directed by Dominic Zapata and will premiere in cinemas on October 28. —Nika Roque/MGP, GMA News
