'Pinoy Big Brother' issues warning about use of housemates' images in AI-generated content
“Pinoy Big Brother” has issued a warning about the use of the housemates’ images, voices, and likenesses in AI-generated content.
In a statement posted on social media, Thursday, the reality show said it does not "tolerate the unauthorized creation, manipulation, or distribution" of such content.
"We emphasize that no website, social media page, or individual is authorized to use, reproduce, or manipulate the images, voices, or likenesses of our housemates," PBB said.
“Furthermore, websites, social media pages, and profiles that use the Pinoy Big Brother brand, house, or likenesses of its housemates to create or distribute unauthorized AI-generated content or engage in content piracy will be reported to the appropriate platforms for action."
“PBB” also reminded the public to use technology responsibly and respect the rights and dignity of the housemates.
"PBB: Collab 3.0" premiered in October. Sixteen housemates, composed of celebrity personalities, social media stars, and ordinary netizens, entered the new PBB house.
The reality series airs on GMA Network from Mondays to Fridays at 9:35 p.m., Saturdays at 6:15 p.m., and Sundays at 4:45 p.m.
