Star-studded triple celebration at baby Zion's baptism

Twenty-five pairs of godparents helped welcome Zion, Richard Gutierrez and Sarah Lahbati's baby, to the Christian world on Sunday.

According to a report on "24 Oras" aired on Sunday evening, among the guests at the baptism were Vice President Jejomar Binay, Batangas Governor Vilma Santos Recto, Leyte Rep. Lucy Torres- Gomez and Richard Gomez.

Also among the godparents were Gretchen Barretto, Susan Roces, Aga and Charlene Muhlach, and Richard's siblings Tonton, Raymond, and Ruffa.



The party for the baptism was a triple celebration since it also marks Zion's birthday as well as Father's Day.

"I think ito na yung pinaka-gift for him, seeing Zion happy...It's a gift for Chard, seeing Zion having fun and gift para sa kanya yung finally na-meet na ni Zion lahat ng friends namin. Lahat ng close friends," Sarah said in the report.

"Overwhelmed kami ni Sarah. We're very,very happy. It's really a big day. It's Father's Day. It's his birthday and also christening, so sobrang saya namin today," Richard said. — JDS, GMA News
