WATCH: Lea Salonga, the original Princess Jasmine, sings 'A Whole New World' some 22 years after 'Aladdin'

Some 22 years since "Aladdin" first came out in theaters, Lea Salonga is still melting hearts with her rendition of "A Whole New World."

Several American entertainment outlets, including Entertainment Tonight, MTV, and BroadwayWorld.com, are abuzz over a video featuring the Filipino singer belting out the tune along with Il Divo.

The video of the performance, which was originally posted last April, probably gained renewed interest as Lea is in the midst of a European tour with the singing group that started at the end of September.

John Boone of ET Online wrote that Lea "still sounds just as lovely" as she did in 1992.
