Maegan Aguilar once again considering charges against live-in partner

Singer Maegan Aguilar is once again considering pressing charges against her live-in partner, hours after saying that she was willing to drop them.

 

After being beaten up by her boyfriend Alexander Sanchez, the daughter of singer Freddie Aguilar said she had been prevailed upon to drop the charges.

 

"I really wanted to put him behind bars because he really hurt me. Nakiusap sa 'kin [yung nanay ni Sanchez]... don't press charges," she said in a report on "24 Oras."

 

 

However, Maegan said the family of Sanchez posted a status on social media claiming that the beating never happened.

 

"I'm just hurt. I thought Ali was with me and then hindi pala. Babaligtarin pa ako," she said.

 

Over the weekend Maegan's best friend Maria Silorio posted a picture of the singer in an ambulance and wearing a neck brace.

 

Detailing the incident, Maegan said she was trying to escape the clutches of her lover.

 

"Paulit-ulit niya akong hinahawakan. Pumipiglas ako. Hanggang sa na-bear hug niya ako doon sa may gate, yung pagkakadiin niya sa aking hindi na ako makahinga," Aguilar said.
