Denise Laurel defends fiance Sol Mercado from 'bored haters' after SMB championship

Actress Denise Laurel took to Twitter on Wednesday to stand up for her man, sending a message to "haters" of PBA guard Sol Mercado after his former team won the championship.

Shortly after the San Miguel Beermen won the 2015 Philippine Cup, Denise posted her message defending her fiance.

All u bored haters trying to be funny are pissing me off. Sol is so happy and proud of his brothers we've been cheering for em nonstop!:)

Sol was a member of the Beermen at the start of the conference before being traded midway through the tournament in exchange for Alex Cabagnot. San Miguel went on to win the championship, leading to some Twitter fans taunting Sol.

But while he is no longer part of the team, Sol had one word to describe the achievement of his former teammates.
