To prove he didn't collapse: Kris posts transcripts of PNoy's forwarded jokes

Earlier this week, President Benigno Aquino III spoke out against rumors that he collapsed last Friday night, saying they were hatched by his political opponents.

So what was the president doing on Friday night? Apparently, sending text messages to his sibling.

On her Instagram account, actress and presidential sister Kris Aquino posted screen grabs of her text message exchange with her brother.

The posts featured a joke forwarded by Aquino to Kris — "WHAT IF CONYO LAHAT NANG NASA PINAS?" — which he said reminded him of her.

On Saturday, Malacañang denied rumors that the president collapsed.

In a speech on Monday, Aquino also categorically denied rumors that he has a serious illness and he was brought to a hospital’s intensive care unit.

“Sa mga naniniwala nga po dito, may paalala po sa atin ang nakakatanda: Wala tayong napapala sa tsismis. Talaga naman pong para sa mga pursigido nating kritiko, tila sala sa init, sala sa lamig ang aming sitwasyon,” Aquino said in a speech. —JST, GMA News
