Beyond Marimar: GMA-7 primetime shows adapted from foreign programs

Miss World 2013 Megan Young will step into the role first brought to life by Thalia and Marian Rivera in a new adaptation of "Marimar," with Tom Rodriguez playing her Sergio Santibañez. The first adaptation catapulted Marian into superstardom, and fans will be watching if Megan could give justice to the role.

 

Already, anticipation is high given GMA-7's strong track record of adapting foreign properties into shows for Pinoy primetime audiences.
