AlDub wins most popular breakout love team award

It has only been seven weeks, but AlDub is already an award-winning love team.

The popular tandem from Eat Bulaga's kalye-serye was named Most Popular Breakout Love Team in this year's EdukCircle Awards.

The award comes just as AlDub's popularity reached a new high, with their first meeting on Saturday setting a new social media record with five million posts on Twitter.

Featuring Alden Richards and Yaya Dub aka Maine Mendoza, the accidental love team has been the catalyst for record-breaking ratings for Eat Bulaga. - JST, GMA News
