Doctors revive talent manager 'Tita Angge' as showbiz personalities call for prayers
Talent manager Cornelia Lee, popularly known as Tita Angge, is reportedly fighting for her life at the Cardinal Santos Memorial Medical Center in San Juan City where she was taken after complaining of chest pains late Saturday evening.
Tweets posted by radio DZMM entertainment news anchor MJ Felipe quoted character actress Sylvia Sanchez as saying that Lee was DOA or dead on arrival at the hospital but was revived by attending physicians.
"Critical po si Tita Angge. Pero lumalaban. Dumating siya sa ospital, DOA. Ni-revive, bumalik pulso niya," Sanchez was quoted saying.

Showbiz personalities also tweeted and called for prayers as news of the incident spread.

She was president of the fans club of reel and real-life Philippine showbiz A-listers Fernando Poe Jr and Susan Roces as well as the fan clubs of Ricky Belmonte and Rosemarie Sonora and the popular 60s teen tandem of Edgar Mortiz and Vilma Santos.
It was the late film director Pablo Santiago who gave Tita Angge a break in the movies by casting her as a tourist in the film "Continental Playboy" that starred Helen Gamboa.
She was then taken in as an "extra" at Sampaguita Pictures to play the role of an African woman in the movie "All Over The World" that featured Rosemarie Sonora and Ricky Belmonte.
Tita Angge also had roles in films such as “Way Out in the Country,” “May Tampuhan Pa-minsan-minsan,” “Sitting in the Park,” “Pogi,” “Joaquin,” “Petrang Paminta,” “Servillano Zapata,” “Wrong to Be Born,” among others. — APG, GMA News
