Ping Medina says he broke hand in anger after Baron Geisler peed on him during scene

Actor Ping Medina took to Facebook to express his fury at co-star Baron Geisler for peeing on him during a scene, leading to Ping breaking his hand in anger after the incident.

Ping posted a photo of himself giving a dirty finger with his heavily-wrapped right hand, along with a lengthy rant describing the incident.

The actor described how he had a talk with Baron about the latter supposedly staying off alcohol during the shoot. Ping said they had a good heart-to-heart talk, even giving his co-actor advice about his career.

Baron later asked him for money supposedly for food, but bought beer instead.

" The next day, gabi pa ang mga eksena ko. Nadatnan kita sa set na medyo mabagal pa rin ang salita. At yun nga: may hawak kang beer. O akala ko ba hindi ka iinom?" Ping wrote.

After rehearsing lines, Ping said Baron became agitated after a scene.

"Pagkatapos nun ay nalaman ko sa staff na nagtatanong ka pala sa kanila kung 'si Ping ba ang bida dito?'" Ping wrote.

"Obviously, di ka nagbasa ng script. Pero direk and I tried to pacify you. Tinawag ka pa ni direk na bida contrabida. At ako sinakyan ko na lang. Dahil lasing ka na at gusto ko na lang tapusin ang gabi."

Describing their big scene, Ping said his mouth was taped and his arms wrapped. Before the scene commenced, Ping said Baron whispered to him: "May gagawin ako sayo Ping ah. Sana wag ka magalit."

During the take, Ping said Baron started peeing on him.

At the end of the take, Ping said he couldn't help but punch the walls of a cargo container, breaking his hand in the process.

Afterwards, Ping said he challenged Baron to a fight. " Pero nakita ko na hindi siya lalaban. Wala akong interes na bumugbog sa walang kalaban laban," Ping wrote.

'Unacceptable'

In an earlier post, the director of the move Arlyn dela Cruz opened up about the incident.

"What you did on the set, for the film BUBOG is unacceptable and cannot be justified by any claim of being in character," she wrote.

"Ping Medina does not deserve what you did. No actor deserves that. No person deserves that."

She said she already killed off Baron's character in the movie after the incident.

Misunderstanding

In his own Facebook post, Baron described the incident as a "misunderstanding."

"Good afternoon po direk. Sorry. Pero you and i both know na malaking misunderstanding po ang lahat. I asked you three times na direk may gagawin po ako then you just said gawin mo nalang sa eksena," he wrote.

"Kung tinanong nyo po ako kung ano yun di sana naiwasan ang mga bagay na ito. You are our captain sa set. You can check the bts for proof kung bastos ako towards anyone. Wala po. May proof."
