MMFF Parade of Stars 2016

The eight movies competing in the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) went on the road on Friday for the annual Parade of Stars.

This year's official entries "Die Beautiful" by Jun Robles Lana, "Vince & Kath & James" by Ted Boborol, "Seklusyon" by Erik Matti, "Kabisera" by Arturo San Agustin & Real Florido, "Sunday Beauty Queen" by Baby Ruth Villarama-Gutierrez , "Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank 2" by Marlon Rivera, "Saving Sally" by Avid Liongoren, and "Oro" by Alvin Yapaz Feliz were all present at the parade.

Sailing through the season despite controversies surrounding the selection, the floats will be making their way through the streets of Manila.

The Manila Police District on Thursday gave an advisory for motorists to ensure the smooth flow of traffic. —FRJ/NB, GMA News
