Solenn Heussaff and Nico Bolzico reveal their own #RelationshipGoals
Most of us are unapologetic fans of the adorable husband and wife Nico Bolzico and Solenn Heussaff, who both take pleasure in sharing their love to the world through adorable—and, most of the time, hilarious—Instagram posts.
Despite the high standard they set, they still look up to their very own #RelationshipGoals.
In the cover story of Cosmopolitan Philippines' Valentine issue, the Kapuso actress and her Argentine man shared their inspirations when it comes to long and lasting love.
"My mom and dad have been together for 40 years. They've had their ups and downs but they've remained strong. They're very different people, but they've worked through it," Solenn said.
In case you haven't seen them on your feed lately, here's the "Encantadia" star with her brother Erwan, mother Cynthia, and father Louis Paul:
Meanwhile, Nico also looks up to her parents, who have been together for more than five decades.
According to him, "My parents have been together for 52 years, and they're still so in love with each other. They grew up together, and they always dance together, too."
The couple also takes inspiration from their friends, who are in healthy and loving relationships as well.
Said friends include Georgina Wilson and Arthur Burnand, Isabelle Daza and Adrien Semblat, and Erwan Heussaff and Anne Curtis—whom are either married or engaged.
Solenn said, "We're also lucky that the couples we're friends with are good couples. They all bring out the best in one another and balance one another out."
While Solenn and Nico are all for having #CoupleGoals, they still advice all couples to be true to themselves and love the things that make their relationship unique.
That's right—every person in a relationship can be "goals" in their own ways.
"We're just two people who love, respect, and trust each other, give each other space, have fun together, and laugh and dance. We work for the relationship every day. You have to make effort to make each other happy—it doesn't just happen. I think every couple who has a good relationship is #CoupleGoals," Nico said.
Solenn added, "It's good to say, 'Oh, they're a cute couple. I like them.' But don't try to be exactly like them. Maybe what works for them won't work for you. You have you own personality."
