Kris Aquino attends wake of Herbert Bautista's dad

Actress Kris Aquino on Monday attended the wake of Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista's father, actor-director and former Quezon City councilor Herminio "Butch" Bautista, at the Loyola Memorial Chapels in Commonwealth Avenue.

Quezon City Public Affairs Information and Services Office (PAISO) chief Ares Gutierrez posted a photo of the actress along with her son Bimby and sister Balsy at the wake on Instagram.

The elder Bautista passed away at 7:55 p.m on Sunday at the Philippine Heart Center.

Kris and Herbert had a much-publicized romance that began in 2014. The couple ended up breaking up, with Kris jokingly referring to their relationship today as "in the friend zone." —JST, GMA News
