EVERYBODY’S TALKING ABOUT

#aKHOandmyBELOved trends on Instagram as Dr. Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho get married in Paris

Dra. Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho only tied knot at dusk on Saturday in Paris, but all through the weekend, the wedding’s hashtag #aKHOandbyBELOved has been trending on Instagram.

It was a lavish celebration to say the least. The couple welcomed their guests — a stellar roster of A-Listers — with a dinner cruise down the Seine on Friday night. Adorable Scarlet Snow playing the drums became the most instagrammable moment of the evening — perhaps next to her parents slow-dancing.

No phones were allowed at the American Church of Paris, but guests were quite successful in taking videos. There was one of the bride walking down the aisle in the arm of her son Quark, and of the groom walking down the aisle a second time — to escort Scarlet.

According to Inquirer’s lifestyle editor Thelma Sioson San Juan who was present at the much-talked about event, the ceremony was emotional. “After the couple exchanged their stirring, heartfelt vows, there was hardly a dry eye in the American Church in Paris,” she wrote in perhaps, the first article filed on the wedding.

The wedding reception was at the historic Opera Garnier no less, with opera singers leading guests to the elaborately decorated hall, a grand performance of the Phantom of the Opera, and the newlyweds dancing.

Belo wore three gowns but the Michael Cinco one she wore at the ceremony was perhaps the most memorable. It’s an off-shoulder blush pink dress in “French lace with solk embroidery in baroque pattern,” informs Sioson-Juan, noting the 3-meter train “with all transparent crystals, beads, and sequins. The veil is 5-meter long.”

Says Cinco on Instagram, “The spectacular and extravagant wedding of @victoria_belo and @Dochayden at the PARIS OPERA is probably the most beautiful wedding I’ve ever seen..and I’m so proud and happy to be a part of it.” As you can see on the gallery, it is straight out of a fairytale book. — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
