Gabby Concepcion jokes: Rome of ‘Ika-6 Na Utos’ in hospital because of mistaken identity

News and entertainment collide as Kapuso actor and "Ika-6 Na Utos" star Gabby Concepcion jokes about the predicament his character, Rome, is facing — which curiously echoes a gaffe made by President Rodrigo Duterte on Tuesday.
"Na ospital bigla dahil sa mistaken identity," the actor wrote as a caption to two separate Instagram posts on Wednesday, adding the hashtags #mistaken #accident #ikaanimnautos #stray #wrong #wrongtarget #philippines.
Gabby's name was uttered erroneously by Duterte while giving a speech at the 120th anniversary of the Department of Justice in the Philippine International Convention Center.
"Sino naka-p— ina ninyong lahat. Ikaw? Gabby Concepcion, mukha kang pera, p— ina ka. Eh totoo man. Eh sus," Duterte said.
The President was referring to Eugenio "Gabby" Lopez III, the chairman of ABS-CBN Corporation.
In the latest episode of "Ika-6 Na Utos", Rome has lost his memories and is being care for by Georgia — unbeknownst to Emma, who believes him to be dead.
With no knowledge of his past, it's as if Rome is a completely different man.

Atty. Gaby Concepcion of Unang Hirit's Kapuso sa Batas also took the time to issue a disclaimer on Instagram using a photo with the actor.
"Hindi Po Kami Yun, Mr. President! Maniwala Po kayo sa amin, inosente Kami! Hindi Po makapal Ang mukha namin! Pramis!" she wrote.
