Did Andi Eigenmann really quit showbiz?
Andi Eigenmann has quit showbiz — at least according to a comment she left on one of her Instagram posts.
She had been responding to a netizen, who told her she's a snob.
The discussion started when Instagram user @vievayanong commented on Andi's photo, where she is seen enjoying a sunny vacation in Siargao.
The netizen said her sister was harshly declined by Andi when asked for a photo.
"Masungit pala to si andie nagpapa-picture daw sis ko sa airport tinaasan daw siya ng kilay #sad," the netizen wrote.
Eigenmann then replied to the netizen, writing, "ma'am before you comment such an accusation on my Instagram page, I hope you realize that I am a human being too, just as your sister is."
Some fans defended her, while others simply said she should have rejected the fan politely.
In one of Andi's reply to the netizens, she revealed that she left showbiz because she wanted to have a simple life as a full-time mom, away from the spotlight and the city.
"If I wanted the life I had in the past, I wouldn't have left showbiz. So go figure. But me wanting to be a full time mom, and to live my life so far away from the spotlight (away from the city, even) doesn't result to your accusations being anywhere true ," she wrote on Instagram.
She also told the netizen that fame is not answer, she explained that the reason she left is because she was "not happy."
"FAME IS NOT THE SOLUTION. And it pains me that there are people like you who think that this is something I should even be sad about. I left because I was not happy. And yes it will never be the same. But I wouldn't trade this simple life for anything else because I have never been happier," she wrote.
Eigenmann ended the conversation warning the netizen to not speak on behalf of others without knowing one's story.
