Maine Mendoza fangirls over Regine Velasquez’s R3.0 concert

Dubsmash Queen Maine Mendoza may have millions of fans across the world, but on the night of Regine Velasquez's R3.0 concert she was a fangirl herself.

The EB Dabarkads host took to Instagram to express her admiration for Asia's Songbird, posting a photo of Regine performing onstage at the Mall of Asia Arena.

In her note, Maine recalled that the first concert she ever went to was Regine's, which she enjoyed as a 10-year-old with her family in the general admission area.

"I can still remember how amused we were even if we were super far from the stage, kahit na ga-bigas sa liit si Ate Reg!," Maine wrote.

Maine had another chance to watch Regine on Monday night—and this time, she was seated much closer. She complimented the whole show and said she felt every song that was sang through her heart.

"It was such a wonderful show and I cannot thoroughly express how amazed and touched I was during the concert. GRABE. Bawat kanta, kahit na yung mga hindi ko alam, tagos 'gang puso," she wrote, and thanked Regine for being herself.

"You always rock big time—in so many ways and so many levels. Thank you for inspiring so many people. Always know that you are worthy to be loved and adored by EVERYONE. I had such a great time tonight! Maraming salamat po sa inyo," she added. — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/BM, GMA News
