Wearing a pastel yellow two-piece bikini designed by Avel Bacudio, and with white sunglasses casually hanging low revealing her beautiful eyes, the Kapuso star calls to mind a mod Barbie doll having a ball at the beach.

The cover was shot on location just in Laiya Batangas, with Janine styled by Daryl Chang, and art directed by Vince uy.

Omar Ermita of MAC Cosmetics did Janine’s makeup, while Ethan David did her hair. She was shot by Charisma Lico.

On Instagram, Janine gushed over her second solo Preview cover.

“So happy and honored and all sorts of kilig to be on the cover of the #AllNewPreview and to kick off summe with Preview again! From that girl in high school who would drool over your issues to my first ever solo cover girl in 2015 – I am always and forever a #PreviewGirl,” she writes.

This issue is incidentally when the long-standing fashion read reveals its latest redesign. Says art director Eugene David on Facebook, Preview readers can expect “new look, look fonts, new executions and new design”.

On Instagram, Preview also revealed a second cover, this time for its digital issue.
