Katrina Halili posts her first-ever magazine cover, writes note to ‘younger self’

On Instagram three days ago, Katrina Halili posted her first-ever magazine cover – the December 2005 issue of the now-defunct FHM Philippines.

On the caption, Katrina wrote a short and sweet note to her younger self: “Sa dami ng pinagdaanan natin, happy ako kung ano tayo ngayon, stronger and wiser,” read a portion of her message.

She also thanked her 2005-self “for reminding me how resilient we are, to be the better version of myself.”

Her December 2005 cover – shot in Batanes – launched quite a stellar FHM career. She’s one of only five women to have four cover appearances and two calendars in her name.
