Glaiza on dating outside of showbiz, not rushing love, and having a non-traditional wedding

Although there may be tons of options for "Contessa" star Glaiza de Castro when it comes to choosing a partner, she said she considers dating someone who is away from the limelight.

But in an interview at launch of shoe brand Butterfly Twists' new collection where she's one of the influencers, the Kapuso star said being in a relationship isn't something to be rushed.

"Maraming mga options pero 'yong decision kasi 'di mo kailangan madaliin, kailangan mo pinag-iisipan 'yan," Glaiza said.

Glaiza said she's the type of person who doesn't make decisions based on her emotions.

"I would say na hindi laging emotions ang pinapaandar 'pag dating sa relationship. Parang dapat practical ka in away, dapat sina-strategize mo rin, ewan ganon ako as a person," she noted.

When asked if her "options" are in the same industry as her, she answered, "non-showbiz."

The Kapuso star thinks having someone who does not share the same "lifestyle" would be more interesting for her.

"Naiisip ko nga na okay na ibang iba 'yong lifestyle ng tao sa 'kin, it's more exciting Knowing myself, gusto ko na laging may experience, bagong knowledge, may bagong input, sa tinagal-tagal ko sa showbiz lagi kong tinatanong ano pa ba? Ano pa bang pwede? So may mga tao na darating na lang, mag-o-offer ng sarili, ng parang ideas nila and na-e-excite ako dun."

She was among the few guests at Rich Asuncion's Hong Kong wedding and Glaiza said attending such events always has her  thinking of her own wedding.

"Kailan [kaya] ako ikakasal, anong klaseng kasal ang [gugustuhin] ko...actually meron na nga akong concept ng prenup," she revealed.

Though she's still still, and completing her dream wedding, one thing Glaiza is sure of is it won't be something traditional.

"Parang masaya rin 'yong cruise na reception parang okay rin 'yong ganitong vibe lang. Definitely, hindi ako 'yong tao na ma-tradition, definitely merong something na hindi formal about the wedding. Binubuo ko pa siya."

She said another question that runs in her mind whenever she's at weddings? "Kailan kaya dadating 'yong tao? Meron na akong prenup na idea pero wala pa akong tao eh," she laughingly said.

Despite not having anyone at the moment yet, Glaiza, like fellow Kapuso actor Julie Anne San Jose, said she won't be giving herself an age limit for marriage.

"Sinabi ko na 'yan before: 'Siguro by the time na mag-30 ako gusto ko na kinakasal na ako.' Anyare 30 na ako. Parang hindi siya ano eh, 'pag binigyan mo ng limit sarili mo, makukulong ka eh. Parang sa 'kin, walang ideal age. When it happens, it happens and it will come naturally," she said.
